Hi, all....

Well, Ashley, Reese and I made it home safely on Sunday night....sorry that
we
kind of ducked out without saying much of anything.  I don't deal well with
goodbyes...especially at the end of FR.  I get really depressed.

Ash and Reese had a great time at their first ever FR.  Thanks to everyone at

the GFP for making them feel welcome...I'm sure that it won't be long before
they join us as full-fledged Nookers/Janglers.

Highlights of the weekend, for me....
- - Getting to spend time with Cone, Larry, George, Sheila, Bern, Bruce, April,

Brad, Joy Elyse, Rhiannon, Char, the Jeff collection, DjP, Nichole, Andrea,
Teresa, Trapper John, Jeong and everyone else who I'm forgetting.  The
friendships and hugs are always the best part of the festival for me.

- - Seeing that StephenSpongeBob is now as tall as me....my, how you've
grown!!!!!!!  *grin*

- - The "Crackerjack Band" that played with N&K was fantastic.  I've really,
really missed FBN, and I was so excited to see them again in this new
incarnation.

- - Tracy Grammer is absolutely amazing.  She's so strong, and amazingly
talented.

- - Pete and Maura and Cadence coming up to hang at the GFP on Saturday night
for dinner...sadly, their visit coincided with Tracy's set, so a lot of us
didn't get to hang out as much as we would like.

- - DaVinci's Notebook.....need I say more?

- - Getting to take my first ever shower in the Fountain of Youth...I hope John

is enjoying the video!  *grin*   That propane hot water heater kicks ass.

- - Muddy roads.  Use grass.

- - The amazing talents that so many of our Nookers/Janglers shared this
weekend.

As always, I had a fabulous time.  It was too short, as always, but the
countdown is on for next year!

Also, an aside, but I'll be moving to Iowa in about another week and a half,
and I just wanted to share my new email address with everyone.  It's
shammie@mchsi.com.  I've already changed my subscription to the Nook and
Jangle-
Poets and everything, but just in case someone wants to write off list. 
Also,
if there are any lurkers or anyone else in Iowa who wants to gang up to go to

shows or who can advise me on what are some cool venues, I'd really
appreciate
it.  George!!! and I are already planning to meet up somewhere sometime.

*sigh*...I hate packing.
