I heard it on radio for more than a year before I put the two together to have one of those moments -- "Oh yeah, so THAT's where they got THAT." So like a lot of the people who have responded to this, I agree that any time on the air is good if it's your music, although I quite understand the frustration that there's not a station that plays "All Kennedys ALL the TIME..." or at least music I want to hear all the time -- especially here in D.C. That's why stereos were invented, I guess. :) Another TK radio note. Friday night around midnight, we were driving back from a concert at St. John's in Baltimore (The Hard Travelers and Ida May Wool.) We have started listening to WTMD, 87.9, while traveling through Baltimore, because the station has recently changed the format to AAA. But around midnight Friday, the station played a cut off Mary Sue Twohy's "The Risk Involved," Nick Drake's "Northern Sky." Pete played the lead guitar, bass and percussion on that I believe, and he and Maura produced the album. It was great to hear it on the air. Also -- informal poll. Anyone here listen to XM satellite radio? I'm thinking about getting it and want to hear some thoughts. - -- Jay Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V5 #38 *********************************
