Dig if you will a picture: The Kennedys doing "Stand" at PACE last night with the whole Gandalf Murphy crew of Slambovians: with Sharkey McEwen on bass; Tony Zuzulo on drums; and Joziah and Tink on background vocals. It was one of my all-time favorite concert moments ever, in a concertgoing career spanning 4 decades. I told both Pete and Joziah after the show that it was like having a mystical experience. Time and space seemed to be melting away, in an Eternal Present Wow. This is what it sounds like when doves cry. There'll be a full review of this incredible Kennedys-Gandalf Easthampton show, when I can twist the arm of Stephenspongebob to help me out. For now, I'm mostly still in shock, and almost speechless.
