Isn't it about time for Pete & Maura to be reviving "Love Train" --- a highlight of TK's guerilla folk music set on the midway at FRFF '01 ? We *can* be a force for good in this world, if we want to be. This is what the Kennedys mean to me, today and always. "Tribe, that's our vibe." He's my number one artist of all time. another quote from the same song: "Tell me, are we alive, or just a dying planet? What are the chances? Ask the man in your heart for the answers" The noise on the Nields list forced me to unsubscribe for the time being. It got to be too much for me! I have most of his music on vinyl, but did recently get "Healing" on CD, which is a wonderful work. Following Todd and his music for the last 25 years has been an incredible journey. I feel I'm at the beginning of a similar journey with Pete & Maura; I can only imagine what kind of art they'll be producing down the road. Actually, I'm not sure I can imagine it, I only know I want to be there when it happens. >Isn't it about time for Pete & Maura to be reviving "Love Train" --- a >highlight of TK's guerilla folk music set on the midway at FRFF '01 ? Ah Falcon Ridge, where you want to be in 2 places at one time. I missed that in '01 as well as TK in the Family tent in '02 (Chris & Meredith Thompson conflicted). But I did see the Love Train in '99. Actually, I'm not sure I can imagine > it, I only know I want to be there when it happens. My own watchwords are Thankful, Hopeful, Merciful. I try to keep focus, but sometimes I am unsuccessful. I have to work on remembering how Thankful I am, every time I get to see the Kennedys. But they give so much of the other two themselves --- giving so much Hope and doing it so Unselfishly --- Hopeful and Merciful come easy. Just enjoy the Kennedys, and be Thankful --- one of the most Hopeful, and most Unselfish acts ever in show business. > >Isn't it about time for Pete & Maura to be reviving "Love Train" --- a > >highlight of TK's guerilla folk music set on the midway at FRFF '01 ? > > Ah Falcon Ridge, where you want to be in 2 places at one time. I'm glad that the Kennedys and the Thompsons are friends, and have so much in common, and get to play together sometimes. :-) > But I did see the Love Train in '99.
