Subject: [JP] Dave Carter

The news has just hit the Dave and Tracy list, so I guess it's okay to let 
people here know.  Dave Carter died this afternoon of a heart attack.  I have 
been in shock and disbelief for the past hour.  I feel like we have lost a 
truly special soul, someone who was just a little too good for this world, 
and I can't even believe how blessed I was to have known this man in my 
lifetime.  I was fortunate to have become friends with he and Tracy, and at 
one time, Dave confessed that his secret wish in life was to become the 
third, banjo-toting member of The Kennedys.  I was looking forward to seeing 
this dream come to pass a bit at Falcon Ridge this year.  

My prayers go out to Tracy, to Dave's family, and all whose lives he touched.
