Cone, Great review as always, getting stoked for the new record - can't wait! Just to reiterate Cone's recommendations of Andy's - it's a storming venue. I was there with Cone this time last year and both sets were marvellous then too. They had great support from Andy and Denise that night which allowed me to persuade TK's to do a superb rendition of _Never Learn_ for yours truly. Has that tune had a run out since then? Rebecca, on the 21+ thing at Andy's I wouldn't want to besmirch Andy or suggest you could appeal to her better nature, but if you were ensconced in the music romm well before show time you'd have no worries I reckon. Failing that, come on over to Blighty where you can drink in a pub at 18 legally and at 16/17 if you look old enough... Cone, on the case of the oyster pie, it's not in my family bc the oysters don't like the frozen North-East. I'm going to enquire of some Welshmen, they'll know for sure... I've been a Nooker for a couple years, and always enjoyed hearing about this corner of the world. Also helping to persuade me to join was hearing The Kennedys on Gene Shay's program over the weekend. I thought it was a great segment, and I was groovin' right along to the special occasion "Get It Right/What's Going On?" medley. It was spectacular! Looking forward to belonging, and meeting folks at Falcon Ridge. It will be my virginal excursion. This list moves a little slow but it's very 'managable'. tED's not here, thank Dobbs. I'm not sure what the current numbers R (Little help, Sheila) but there's a bunch of regular ol' janglers on here. Some real crackerjacks from near & far. Of course there's the usual resistance 2 my personal encryptment, but of course U're no stranger 2 that. Let me warn U about Faye A. Brown, she's so smart that she has found a way 2 live good & still find time 2 get out of the office on a regular basis. Dang, why can't I find a woman like that? There's a bunch of janglenookees over here. Bruce lurks around in the shadows. The Dashboard Buddha graces us from time 2 time W/ his timeless, eternal wisdom in haiku. Last but not least there's my awesome intellect (I used 2 B a genius). Susan Werner digs me. Don't quote me, but I think the Office Of Homeland Security reads this stuff... 'Those birds have 2 learn this stuff somewhere'... Libby would know 4 sure. They follow her around. > Also helping to persuade me to join was hearing The Kennedys on Gene > Shay's program over the weekend. The CD version rocks out! I tried 2 update my media player & missed the show. What else did they play? Was Susan Werner on? Damn, I really wanted 2 catch that broadcast. Did they play any Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus Of Dreams? 4 some reason my soundcard won't play the XPN stream. > Looking forward to belonging, and meeting folks at Falcon Ridge. It > will be my virginal excursion. It's like being in another country... Has everything but rides & a side show! Great showers 2. That's credit where credit's due. Still a nice little intimate group, in my opinion, while yet being able to form quorums now and again! Welcome to Deb and Jeff and any other newcomers out there. << This list moves a little slow >> Remember my founding motto: "If we have something to say, we post.
