The KNiELdS @ the Birchmere May 3rd!!! Y4Y!!! I suggest we make this the supreme concert event of the spring. Birchmere patrons get a discount @ the Best Western, which has new clean rooms. Can we have a party after the show? Please, please, please!!! W/ a little effort we could have our own Best Western Swingin' Folk Festival... A Dashboard Buddha Convention! So that's what the Buggha's were planning in the parking lot of the Herndon Amphora Diner. There's also a great Thai place we could dine @ B4 the show... Dobbs I love DC in the spring! Any1 ever been 2 the George Washington Masonic Memorial, just up the hill from the B-mere? It's free & makes a great day trip if U've never seen the Arc Of The Covenant, 1 of which is on display there... very interesting. Do U think we'll have a quorum? Hell, this'll B a quornival!!! Don't quote me... Could this B the birth of the KNiELdS? There are 105 of them!! I maintain that life does not get ANY better than a Kennedys/Nields double-bill at the Birchmere, though of course, I don't get out often. :) I am so ridiculously happy, and Cosette is excited too (she is the unofficial-after-the-manager-has-gone-home mascot of the Birchmere, an honor bestowed on her by the staff last year). This is SOOOOOOOOO sweet. I'll go try to revel silently now and spare the Nook anymore of my rantings! BUT... let THOSE little details stop me from making a show like this??? Priorities, priorities. Count me in. I can be the quorum-mistress... anyone who wants to be counted as part of the quorum can report to me that evening... I'll enter it into the little quorum-counter machine... and we'll get a readout of demographics and favorite kind of donuts. This is by far my most favorite road-trip destination, and, if the car gods are kind and benevolent, I will be there (for Libby, the quorum-mistress....log in Cosette too, she's an honorary JangleNooker)! And you're right, it WILL be an outstanding configuration. TK/TN are a convergence NOT to be missed (*I'll* be coming all the way from Boston for this). I have been in a state of euphoria all day. Life is SWEET. 105 days. The countdown begins!!!!!! Peace, Sheila PS: CC = Cadence Carroll, a singer/songwriter from New Canaan, CT, who often joins Pete and Maura as their djembist.
