I don't think I've heard this tune B4. Did they say anything about it? I'm assuming they played a short set (1hr) which would Xplain the omission of LIL. P&M have a ton of great new material, they're literally overflowing W/ song, so it's good 2 C them breaking out of the buisness as usual 4mat. I think their next release, tentitively titled Galaxy Express, will B 1 of their best CDs 2 date. The stuff I've heard from it is fantastic & rumor has it that the 'Chalfants' R on 1 of the cuts. The Xpress will find me waiting in the station 4 that next train 2 glory! > and I got > home earlier than I ever do from a NY show because the Kennedys went on first > instead of last! & U didn't even walk over 2 Carnegie Hall 4 Arlo's last set? Generally, Arlo lets folks in after the 2nd set gets started if there's any empty seats. He's good like that, but it is NYC where they frown on anybody getting something 4 nothing. > Can't wait to see the Kennedys again at the Turning Point next weekend, while > some of you will be at N&K's Godfrey Daniels show I'm sure! Y4Y! Better get a reservation because they almost always sell out the Turning Point. It's got 2 B 1 of the smallest venues I know of, which is Xactly why I rarely go there. It's 2 small & they stuff it W/ a shoehorn... bourgeois 3rd world boutique food @ 1st world prices... just not my style. The Kennedys avoid the 'A' word (antique) & I avoid the 'B' word (boutique). Out of curiosity does any1 know how the suffix 'tique' translates 2 english? > sorry that more NY Nookers didn't catch tonight's Kennedys show --- and no > Cone either! Isn't that par 4 the course in NYC? I have 2 wonder how people who live there can afford 2 do anything... unless U lie, cheat, steal, & prostitute yourself, which seem 2 B very popular livelyhoods in the community, if U can call it that. Don't get me started on the traffic/ parking issue, or the mini police state they have going on. If U're on the other team like me, THE POLICE R not your friends. Did U get load of how they beat back the firemen & arrested the leaders of their union. Sooner or later cops always show their true colors. I always ask myself is this the kind of place U would want 2 B arrested... Another reason U won't C me in Boston or Philly very often. I'll take Green Acres any day, but NYC? U can give it back 2 the indians, since it's devoid of game & little can grow there. It's hard 4 me 2 feel sorry 4 people who choose 2 live there, if U can call it that... They could have the next Survivor there... Survivor NYC!
