As Bruce noted, between he, Steven, Cone, Melissa, and myself we had a jangle quorum and then some. I got there a bit late, so I didn't have a chance to work the crowd - did I miss anyone? The night's selections, as best as I can remember : <>Life Is Large ... a brief interlude with Pete playing something enchanting while Maura plugged in plugs and tweaked the tweaker things. <>Come In My Kitchen <>Bells & Loaves & Letters <>Rappahannock (This song is fast becoming my best friend) <>River of Fallen Stars with Cadence Carroll on djemba <>Pearl's Eye View <>Run Red Lights <>The Mighty Quinn with AJ pitching in on guitar <>Air Guitar with CC&AJ and dozens of kids sharing the stage with their imaginary Stratocasters. I almost hurt myself laughing when the collective band got on their knees and jammed out. <>Pick You Up (YAY for Evolver content!) <>Orange Blossom Special Encores : <>Sirens (Mediterranean and Arabesque flavors on this define coolness) <>California Dreamin' <>Life Is Large reprise All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening. ~jim Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V3 #94 *********************************
