This will not be a CD release party as earlier stated (my mistake), but I'm sure that with the support of kind folks from the Jangle-Poets and the Nields-Nook, and with the support of Cady's already large and growing fan base in and around her area, the CD will be produced in short order. I sure hope so, because I'm jonesing. We all need a Cady fix. Thanks for reading. b-dette, who'd spend fifty bucks on a Cady CD any day. :-) >I'll second that emotion. >YEA! & WOO-HOO!!!!, Indeed. >Duly noted in my little black book. >I will not miss this event. >Both of the Kennedys shows that I have seen featured Cady >doing her percussive thing and she kicks ass, IMHO. The flea market approach 2 per4ming is a great idea. Folks who could care less about the music now have another good reason 2 go C the Kennedys. The clothing racks were set up on the stage behind the dynamic duo. Lots of flowers & brite clothes... a great stage set 2 B sure. Stuff was flying off the racks! I actually found a Neru shirt, but of course it was 2 small. I would not B surprized 2 find that more revenue was generated X the flea market than CD sales. After the 1st verse of Jesse Maura the Merrier broke a string & we were treated 2 an awesome improv solo from Pete as the repairs were being made. Maura rejoined Pete 4 a chorus picking up the tune right where she had dropped out. It was a very smooth transistion. 1st set; Life Is... This was a magic moment in light of the fact that Dickie Chappel was a pilot & parachutist. I don't remember these songs played back 2 back B4 but it really reinforces the meaning of Pearl 2 attach it 2 a song that was recieving airplay durring the Vietnam civil war. I can almost hear Armed Forces radio playing the Byrds while Dickie lounged W/ the marines, snapping photos & taking notes. This was 1 of the highlights of the evening 4 me. The 2nd all request set really took off. Jay got us started. 2nd set; Rappahannock OneHeart DayAfterDay RideAngelRide Bend SameOldWay WorldW/oLove Can'tKillHope RedHorses SinCity (P&M per4med this song in the same pair of jeans) "14 years down the tubes"-MK NotFadeAway (BLISTERING!) encore' YouAin'tGoin'Nowhere When I came 2 this show I had Kennedys sheet music W/ me but now it's gone. I can't find it anywhere & I'm not sure how that happened. I was going 2 work on those tunes last weekend but I can't now... This is jamming me up in my preparations 4 the StonyMan hike...
