A really enjoyable show with a staggering assortment of Nookers in attendance. There was Cone and Bern. Sheila was wielding merch. Bruce (the navigator) and son Steve. There was Nooker Al and Harry and family. Between Harry and Cone I think the event was thoroughly recorded, AV-wise. First Set : Life is Large Rappahannock Just Like Henry David The Coo Coo - Clarence Ashley song Come In My Kitchen Angels Cry - Inspired by Gabriel Faure's Pavan Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring A Bend in the River - Inspired by the movie The Mission ... they ask for requests; without missing a beat Bern shouts "Free!" and they play Free. ... then Al shouts "Wall of Death" and someone else shouts "Purple Rain". The crowd laughs. Pete looks at Maura and says "Medley?" Maura says "Sure!" and they oblige us with a Free/Purple Rain medley. Cool. Eight Days a Week Feather in the Flame River of Fallen Stars Second Set : Common Bond (?) Morning Comes to Me ? Pearl's Eye View Distant Thunder Run Red Lights Across the Great Divide (?) Tip of My Tongue ? Didn't it Rain Orange Blossom Special Encores : California Dreaming She Loves You I could swear they played Highway 10, but such was my mesmerization that I'm not sure if they did. ~jim unrepentant cross-poster since now.
