Wood & D. LaMotte webcast concert Thursday This was posted to another list, but certainly holds interest for here!! I will post the set list from the NYE show in a bit. Suffice it to say for now it was a GREAT show, and a lot of fun, and it was SO worth the drive from Boston. However, I was seriously questioning this about 15 minutes after leaving the show as I found myself in a minor, but car-disabling (no one was hurt), accident a couple of miles from the venue. I immediately fell into a funk as my mind imaginatively conjured up the hell that this year was sure to hold for me because clearly, if this is what happened two and a half hours into 2001, things were not going to be good (not to mention that the LAST time I made this drive, I blew a couple of tires in New Jersey). But then, help came from New Year's Day angels, and I somehow managed to figuratively limp my way not only back to Massachusetts, but to make it to the Nields' Iron Horse shows in Northampton as well, where there were more angels waiting for me with hugs, allowing me to share my story and offering much needed shifts in perception. With a little more sleep, life will be pretty good once more and I will post the kick-butt set list from the show!! Peace, Sheila << Hey friends, Just wanted to let you know that Pete & Maura Kennedy, myself and Beth Wood will be doing a live performance radio show this Thursday in Pensacola FL, which is broadcast on the internet. The series is called Radio Live. It's based in an old theater and hosted by Pat Crawford, sort of on a Mountain Stage model. I've played it once before, and it's a beautifully done show. Tune in this Thursday, 1/4/1 on the WUWF web site at 6PM east coast (U.S.) time - http://www.wuwf.org/. You may want to go there early and make sure you've got the proper software. There's also more information about the show and links to performers' web sites, etc. if you go to "Radio Live" under the WUWF web index on that site. Thanks for the bandwidth, and Happy New Year, David >> Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V3 #2 ********************************
