I would like 2 offer up this Xample. I keep seeing polling figures that say 50%+ of people said yes when asked if Gore should concede. At 1st glance this question seems fairly cut & dried, until we think it thru a little farther. Hypothetically speaking, let's just say 60% of those polled say yes, Gore should concede. Hypothetically speaking, let's say 50% of the electorate did not care about politics enough 2 get off their ass & cast a vote, although they did answer the polling question. If we subtract 50% (the percentage of answerees who did not vote in the election) we get a new figure of 30% who think Gore should concede compared 2 20% who disagree, with a mere 10% difference between them. When we take away the people who couldn't B bothered 2 vote, we R left w/ mostly the people who voted 4 Bush anyway. Naturally they want Gore 2 concede. The question & the total count is very misleading. Naturally people who don't care enough 2 vote just want it 2 B over so they can get back 2 their games & soap operas & if they've been mislead 2 believe that 1 candidate or the other has an advantage they will go 4 what appears 2 B the likely outcome. This is how the 'neutral media' is letting us all down. We can apply this formula 2 any set of polling figures, what becomes obvious is that 4 the most part, the only VOTERS who want Gore 2 concede R people who voted 4 Bush, & 2 a great degree, people who didn't vote at all, although this fact continues 2 B obscured by the media, who it appears would prefer a Bush victory. The figures after applying the non-voter formula work out very close 2 the election results. In an election this close, it would B irresponsible 4 either candidate (Xcept Nader) 2 concede. DON'T B FOOLED BY MEDIA DOUBLESPEAK. I wonder if people who R sick & tired of this politics stuff will get as sick & tired of saying it as I M of hearing it. Get over it, history is being made here. Oh, silly me... U don't like history either. Personally, I hope they keep counting until Gore wins. COUNT 'EM AGAIN JEB!
