I agree with Melissa, that "River of Fallen Stars" is a great first, or next, Kennedys disc to obtain. I first bought it blind, having read about them and their "Byrds-like" jangle. From the very first notes I was hooked. It's a special, perfect debut album, and the one of theirs I still listen to the most. The opening title track is outstanding, and the closer, "Spirit Compass", is to me one of the greatest album closers of all time! (And they have played it for me twice now!) So, that's my vote, but you sure can't go wrong with any of them. Oh, yeh, don't ignore Pete's solo work. "Shearwater" and "Channel 3" are still available on their web site. Both vastly different from their duo stuff, and from each other, but really good listens none the less! And if you can track down his "Highway 10" cd, you're really lucky! A wide variety of styles on one disc.
