Wow! This guitar fits Pete like deerskin roping gloves! A new guitar always brings out the fire in a player & last night the Kennedys were on fire! They gave played a new song off of the next CD. The song is called Didn'tItRain? It's a classic blues number that is uptempo & very soulful w/ an interesting jam section. I was authorized 2 announce that Dave Chalfant & Katryna NiELdS R guest performers on the new Kennedys CD that has yet 2 B released! I M not @ liberty 2 go in2 the details but I suspect this new CD is out of this world. Miracles never cease. The tattoos R the coolest (although I M curious how I get 1 on a coffee mug), I now have the complete set of stickers, NiELdS, EZPeople, Kennedys! Yea, Kennedys! The HaHaHa mobile rides again... Have clams, will travel! The Kennedys treated us 2 the Gram Parson classic Wheels which really kind of made my day. Pete&Maura referenced what has now come 2 B known as 'the Rhiannon show'. Andy&Denise opened the show & if your a fan of 'hoppy couples rock' U'll love them... I do. Andy&Denise R from NYC so heads up 'YANKS'... Andy&Denise will B performing w/ the Cucumbers soon up that way. The Kennedys also mentioned John, & Sheila turning up in Saratoga. They wanted 2 know why John was so shy, & inquired about his wardrobe (some of which may B true)... Not a Schpooky potty... Andy has a hoppy potty! I was watching her show 1 day & this big raven that was loose in the studio swooped in LANDED right on her HEAD! She kind of froze in horror. It was magic... Arm, ankle, forehead?? And I also haven't gotten to put my new Kennedys sticker on my car yet because I need to find the perfect location. Speaking of the Kennedys, I was talking about them with Katryna Nields last night. No lie. We were taking about how they were at the Rocky Mtn Folk Festival and how they played at a biker bar in ben lomond. Oh and I saw the new kennedys sticker on Nerissa's guitar case (opposite side from the freakishly huge KRCB sticker). it was very cool! ok i gotta run. don't worry cone, i 'll tell the nook all about the berzerkeley show later. i gotta go partay now. no new songs but nerissa swore she'd play some in davis tonight. wish i was going! katie Katie Stohlmann stohlman@sfsu.edu http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~stohlman Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2000 18:49:43 -0400 From: rhiannon richard Subject: [jangle-poets] various stuff First, have I ever mentioned that I love conehead's reviews of shows? Wow! That's *so* neat!!! "the rhiannon show"...that has a ring to it, i'd say. I refer to it as "the day anelle, 7 other kids, and I became adopted kennedys children". And also "can't kill hope with an age limit". It has been proven that Groovy the fish is a music SNOB! He ONLY dances to Kennedys and guitars. I haven't tried any Nields yet, maybe he's stictly a HaHaHa fish, or maybe only TK. But he always looks a little sad and sick after a day without the kennedys in the player. So "Evolver" has been living in nell's computer for several days. He does still love to dance to my guitar whenever I play it in the bedroom. The G chord is still his favourite (he thinks it was named after him). Oh, and Anelle got tights today and on the way home from the mall we realized that they're just like the ones that Maura wears on "Life is Large". Maybe I'll borrow those for my folk costume!!! And although this has nothing to do with the kennedys, I also got bright blue ice-blue tights! Anyhow. Yay janglers! - -rhiannon p.s. I wrote my very first SONG last week!!! It was my absolute first attempt and I'm very happy about it! http://www.unca.edu/~rcrichar/falling.htm pps... those of you visiting my kennedys page should definitely SIGN MY GUESTBOOK!
