I bought Object 47 on vinyl as well and the sound is very clear, although the actual vinyl is a bit flimsy. RBT side 2 has crackling all over it - a bit like static clicks but constant. For top quality vinyl you should try the Fall's Your Future Our Clutter - shiny, heavy black stuff with an amazing depth of sound. Must have been quite expensive to produce but well worth it. The Damned's So, Who's Paranoid is another fine example of quality vinyl. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-idealcopy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-idealcopy@smoe.org] On Behalf Of elektrolad Sent: 07 March 2011 10:49 To: idealcopy@smoe.org Subject: RE: [idealcopy] Red Barked Tree vinyl Perhaps the first time the lp doesn't sound better than the cd? Really wouldn't mind spending a few more # for a heavy duty viny!! I Heard whisperings on this crappy pressing early on even passed on an opp to purchase at a 2011 concert RBT LP really does need a recall and re press shurely the amount of returns could tell greedbag the real story Cheap Flimsy vinyl and static are constant bed fellows!
