There's stuff from New Order and The Dead Boys too among others. Assayas has form in including unexpected songs (in 'Summer Hours' he rather brilliantly chucks The Incredible String Band into the final scene completely inappropriately) and I'm still not sure whether the Wire songs fit in this context (they are anachronistic in terms of the scenes they are in) but one hopes the lads will get some royalty comeback from this (although how much a six hour film in about eight different languages is going to take at the BO is moot). Well worth catching btw. another the Keith ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V12 #106 ********************************
