The most unpretentious people in > Pop surely?! > Speaking of curvy but not unpretentious, what about that footage of Nick Drake's sister, actress Gabrielle cavorting her ample form around the fixtures and fittings of a car. This was used to accompany Gary Numan's effort (and The Normal's TVOD I think) but I'm not sure where the footage came from originally - can't imagine it was his video but maybe. The way it was cut it was hard to tell what was what but JG Ballard (whose "Crash" was referenced - hence the "automobile-erotic" theme) kept popping up. Anyone know where this came from ?
