Even That What is Not had Think Tank - a good track, IMO. And Psycho's Path had Open Up and Sun (even though the main riff of Sun is a blatant ripoff of Queen's Innuendo). So - not much, definitely nothing compatible to Metal Box or even First Edition, but some enjoyable stuff there. Syarzhuk May you be forever touched by His Noodly Appendage... I visited the fodderstompf site referenced below and felt that it did the event no justice for sheer electricity; it was, in deed, one short step from total chaos. From the get-go, Lydon was inviting audience members on stage, which, IMO, was what ultimately led to the show being shortened by Palladium staff. He was (this was about the height of DIY, as I recall) actually giving his mike to young kids and having them sing, at one point quipping "See, anyone can do this", or something to that effect. The crowd had a punk type of anger through it, fed further by Lydon's antics and the fact that house security was trying to quell the audience coming onstage. As the stage become relatively crowded with audience members, security tried to clear the stage unsuccessfully. I recall them actually trying to stop Wobble from playing, which he fought off. The lights went completely out after one number (don't recall the set list, although fodderstompf.com does list it) and when they came back on, Lydon and Levine were gone. Wobble led a drum/bass two number instrumental and then said goodnight. Although the theatre was about to explode for most of the show, it ended with a whimper, not a bang. brian On Sep 8, 2009, at 5:50 AM, keith a wrote: >> keith ; what was the band for that "Album" tour then? was that >> McGeogh ? > > > > > > Yes.
