It does look great, pity it won't be released in time for Xmas which is what Box Sets were invented for. I've pretty much got all these tracks so not sure I can justify a purchase but if anyones is intrigued by the Factory and wants to dig a bit further thats a pretty good selection I think. Maybe a few too many Joy Div/New Order tracks though. The only thing I spotted on the new set that I was interested in and isn't on Palatine is the old Cabaret Voltaire track. Good point about potential buyers on this one already owning the "big" songs, but I guess it'd be a hard sell without at least a few of those tracks. A bit more surprising to me is that while there are 8 New Order tracks spanning the 4 discs, 7 Happy Mondays tracks are squished onto discs 3 & 4. No denying how huge they were, but I still think that's a few too many tracks from them. They could've made room for some of the bands that've been completely left off. btw, X-O-Dus are on disc 1. - -another the Paul n.p. Such is the tragedy of rewritten history that the Happy Mondays get 8 tracks, yet there is no room for the Wendys. Tony would have approved. It's nice, but I've already got Palatine.
