I got used to it being there and didn't give enough thought to the fact that its existence relies on people like me. giluz 2008/10/3 Paul Pietromonaco > Wha? Seemed like a good set up and they always delivered very quickly and were very helpful when i spoke to them a couple of times. I must confess though I only bought Wire, Githead and Swim stuff off them... I've yet to find a better online store than http://www.boomkat.com They have their online business model sorted out its fair to say. Stacks of new goodies every week to post or download, and they write reviews of all the new releases that really grab your imagination (not just copying verbatim from the press release like so many others seem to do). They seem to go out of their way to source superb outer-limits stuff that you'll struggle to find anywhere else (on or offline). Every Thursday they post up on the website clips of all the new stuff thats coming out the following monday. Very helpful in navigating the avalanche of new music that arrives week in week out. Thats the way to do it. They also run this handy site if, like me, (and Colin Newman according to that interview Jon posted), you're bored of Rock music and looking for new genres to get into...they make some new ones up for you: http://www.14tracks.com I particularly liked Downward Acid and Narcotic House! >> >> >> >> I'm probably far behind the times but I just found out now that >>> PostEverything's closed down.
