Now it's finally out on DVD with English subtitles. The film tells the story of the band, whose members were Israeli (except for Max Franken, the drummer) and who operated in Amsterdam and Brussels during the 80's. It's a very intelligent and detailed film, though only 85 minutel long - most aspects of the MC story are there, and the band members themselves are very direct and open, especially Malka. Colin appears in the film, of course, though briefly, having played the part of producer, and flat-mate. The film, released in 2002, was actually the trigger that led to the band's brief reunion a year later, and also to the one after that a few months ago. Unfortunately, except for the occasional gigs, the band do not plan to work on any new material in the foreseeable future. Now, I don't know whether it's available via mail order. If anyone's interested, I can ask and help. I don't remember how much it cost, but I think it wasn't more than $30. cheers giluz - -- Now playing: http://www.last.fm/user/giluz/ ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V10 #485 ********************************
