Is that Wimbledon Common or Central Park? Has 'One of Us' got much radio play? I live in a virtual lead box at the moment, or so it seems, so have no idea. Have been enjoying Object 47 after an initial sense of slight disappointment. For me, the observation that it sounds a bit mid-90s is an example of lazy journalism that contains a kernel of truth. Or even a major-general. Not that sounding a bit mid-90s is any more of a 'problem' than sounding early 80s, like pretty much everything else does. The Bell is a Cup comparison is an interesting one. Like that album it has one hit single in a parallel universe, beside which - to the casual listener, at least - everything else is bound to struggle. I hope to god there are still some tickets to the Scala, as I haven't got one yet. If I do, look forward to seeing everyone there. cheers all Howard ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Aug 2008 09:01:19 -0400 From: Eric Klaver Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Re: video The Queen's Butt or Strawberry Fields? It uses stereo separation and panning, so listening in stereo is recommended, on decent playback speakers or headphones. Mastering level a bit low, so a volume boost is recommended.
