The same "Object 47" elsewhere on the site that they've had in stock for days won't be shipped to me instead because of the two dollar difference. I had to call them, they didn't send out an email or anything. They cancelled my order and I can expect to see the cost back on my debit card within a week. Basically I've been screwed, and who knows how many others have as well. Tower charges the card immediately. So they've had money collecting interest with no intention on actually filling the $10.99 order. Wow, what a crock. So it's the 15th and the Wire cd I've paid for isn't even going to be coming after the good faith placed in them. Live and learn. This is the third time this has happened to me in a year. Last summer I preordered Mayhem's cd "Ordo Ad Chao" from Amazon which never came in, had to order from overstock.com. This past March I preordered Ringo Starr's USB wristband from deepdiscount.com; they waited two weeks past the release date saying it hadn't arrived and then ended up sending me the cd version, and had to order the usb from Amazon. Preorders do not seem to work out for me when it comes to music; dvd's come in time though. "Object 47" is out worldwide, everywhere but in my house. Lovely. Gotta go elsewhere. - -- Be Yourself @ mail.com! Tower is definitely on my s--tlist now. They were even arrogant about it, although they had to admit they have the same item in stock that I ordered and won't be getting...?? I'm still confused by the level of inept dishonesty they engage in. Thanks for the heads up on buy.com. I've ordered from them before, very slow delivery. Luckily I didn't need to return anything. Crikey! Another Manchester gig?! I feel quite spoilt! Was only thinking last night it would be great to see another gig now that i've heard the O47 tracks. Academy 3 is much nicer than the Academy 2. Smaller, better acoustics, much more intimate and unlike the Ac2, the bar is in the same room as the band! Should be a cracking gig. Looks to be an old, unused one. There's mention of a "cut-out" mark. That's the notch you cut into the cover when records are discontinued and sent back to the factory to be re-sold in the cut-out bin. (Hence the name. ^_^) Cheers, Paul - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ari" To: Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 2:42 PM Subject: [idealcopy] 'new' wh? > Has this been re-released or is this an old unused one? > > http://tinyurl.com/5v6w8x > > Not recycling? watch THIS!! > > > http://www.storyofstuff.com/ ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V10 #425 ********************************
