In other words, circa R&B and Send, it was cool to rate Wire; perhaps now it's cool to slate them, especially if you use Bruce as an excuse (although I think it's insulting to the rest of the band to infer that Bruce was the main creative talent, via "arch-provocateur Bruce Gilbert"). Although I won't be reviewing Object 47 for any media (I'm too close these days), and Wireviews also never had any ratings, I'd rate Object 47 as a very solid 4 (if using a 5-star system).
