I think ME is really good, a bit of a return to form from their more loungey noodling Phase IMO (though I must give a mention to Double Rocker from Sound Dust as it's a real fave of mine). Some great tracks. F4S isn't in the same league admittedly, but it definitely has its moments. Dig it out again, young Timothy! ; ) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-idealcopy@smoe.org [mailto:owner-idealcopy@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Tim Sent: 14 May 2008 02:07 To: idealcopy@smoe.org Subject: Re: [idealcopy] new stereolab video Margerine was Ok, I don't listen to it much... but Fab Four was really really dissapointing...really treading water on that one I felt. Maybe Mary's death and Tim & Letitia splitting up took its toll on the music. This new ones sounds like they're making a bit more of an effort! Although still prefer their more driving, Krautrock stuff rather than the loungey stuff. Big US tour booked so hopefully some live dates over 'ere too....waaay to long since i've seen t'lab live.
