Aside from an oblique mention by our own Keith Knight in 2007, I had heard nothing about this album. Shows just how out of touch I've been lately. Oh yeah - my daughter was born right about when it was released - that might have something to do with it too. ^_^ Anyway - I'm listening to it now. I knew a little bit about it from reviews, but I wasn't totally prepared for how much of a departure it is from her other work. And yet - somehow it's kind of the same too. I'll probably blather on about it in a future e-mail - it's gonna take a while to sink in, I think.
