Scarier would be the later series in which string puppets of current pop stars (Gary Glitter, David Bowie and, erm, Lulu spring to mind) would be made to sort of move around to their songs. Could've been satire I suppose. Then there was some puppet sat at a piano sideways on to the camera who would 'play' god knows what and occassionally turn to the camera and wave. Not at all pleasant. (I have a weird sense of deja vu as I type this; apologies if I've relived this childhood nightmare here before). Ian B PS Billy, you ever wade through those MST3K dvds? I sort of lost track of that and didn't want to bother you with it when parenthood loomed. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "elektrolad" To: Sent: Saturday, January 19, 2008 8:46 PM Subject: Re: Fw: [idealcopy] Devo Plays Microsoft! > Do P&P have any dvds? > > --- Ari wrote: > > > iirc p&p were a couple piglets on the b.b.c kids > > shows.................... sorta a british chipmonks > > thingy?? I liked 'em! I'm sure we had some P&P LP's in out house. Or E.P's. Possibly on multicoloured vinyl. Wonder where they went?!! I'm thinking way before GG and DB though. Ah. They were simple days. Yet colourful. And squeaky. K. np ABC Music - Stereolab ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V10 #288 ********************************
