When I sank into it, it started to grow. It's more art than punk (a reversal of the previous RBs). Reminds me of Bell is a Cup era Wire, my point of entry. Love the lyrical jumble of 23. Been reading lots of Ashberry, so there's a resonance. I have two theories why it might be less discussed. My first is that it's a departure and requires some repeats to gain steam. My second is that those who are disappointed weren't loved by their mothers, need copious amounts of male enhancement drugs and are embarrassed by their lack of body hair. Just my guesses............ - ----- Original Message ----- From: Ari Date: Wednesday, November 14, 2007 5:29 am Subject: Re: [idealcopy] visit the museum of backward hats > >>Man that RB3 is very good indeed. It depends whether it's a good song or not. Otherwise we get back to 70's albums with the obligatory reggae number! ; ) Gotta say that the 2nd AF album has grown on me, you know! Also there's a less bombastic earlier [radio?] version of Intervention wich I like much better than the Neon Bible one. From the regular albums to me Laika stands out.
