Keith asks: "On a different note, anyone else into Alan Vega's latest album, Station? He's in an uncompromising mood. Some of the titles - Freedom's Smashed and Gun God Game - will give you some idea how he's feeling. He's not happy. Indeed he's probably the noisiest grumpy old man you'll hear all year." I've given it just one spin so far and I can't remember the last time I listened to something this dark and grim. Truly a bleak vision and probably the wake up call I need, being one of those people who hopes that everything is really not so bad. Way to go, Alan! And on another different note, how did folks find that album of covers of "Outdoor Miner?" I came across it for the first time and wondered if I would regret spending $7.99 for it. A completist pleasure or just daft? Robert (another) ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V10 #188 ********************************
