A friend and I shelled out just over $100 apiece to attend The Police show in Atlanta this November. Some internal conflict, of course, as I don't spin The Police as much these days, but they were my favorite childhood band for many many years way back when and, in fact, were one of the bands that really got me interested in music in the first place. I did play Message In A Box this week, though, and remembered that, although The Police weren't quite as fantastically witty as I always thought that they were when I was a kid, they really were one of the best singles bands out there. Some catchy hooks, that's for sure. Yes, I'm looking forward to the show in a big way. Jason _________________________________________________________________ Need a break?
