That makes five within 15 miles of each other - so much for the industry moaning about falling CD and DVD sales. When the price is right, people will buy it seems (even allowing for the fact that a used CD on ebay is even cheaper, most of the time). There's even a bar downstairs. It's big enough to display CDs by (selected) record label as well as alphabetically and by genre. It's like a dream landscape and I would say impossible to go into without spending money. I bought A Hawk and A Hacksaw's new album for seven quid, The Name of this Band is Talking Heads 2 x CD set for a fiver and a compilation selected by Matt Groening for three quid. I feel that I got away lightly. I spotted two Wir(e) Cds for a fiver each - IBTABA and The First Letter. I'd go as far as to say that this is now a must-go destination if visiting London, even if you have a Fopp nearby. Used to be people would travel to a location when they offered a product. Now, they just build another location close by. The company I work for has overexpanded in the area. They moan about falling sales at each location, but now you only have to drive 5-10 minutes to find another. They plan on adding 6 more next year. Funny, because they can't find managers or staff for what they already have now. I don't work at walmart who has done the same thing.
