I think I want one. Pure guess, but a Kaoss Pad? They're very nice indeed, and not *that* expensive. Radiohead, of all people, do a fantastic job with them live; "Everything In Its Right Place" is their usual encore, a quartet for vocal/rhodes, bass, and two Kaoss Pads... Kids love 'em too. Ryuich Sakamoto is another afficianado. When we get something nailed I'll post a link. I've got a cover in the can; I'm kind of terrified of using it, though, because I don't want to annoy the band :) (Mine's an entirely- instrumental Map Ref). Covers are something I'm mixed on - I genuinely think they're worthwhile if they take a different spin on the song, but the last thing you want to do is be disrespectful to the authors of the song as well. Even if I don't release it, the process of arranging someone else's song was really eye-opening - it made me think about the way I write and arrange properly for the first time, really.
