Yup: http://www.last.fm/user/ProjectNoise/ for me. As for the whole "listening to yourself" thing, I guess, as giluz said, it comes down to *why* you're doing this. If it's for "work" (mixing, remixing, reworking, checking for errors), that's one thing, but if it's for "pleasure" (just listening because you like the music), that's another. I do both for Project Noise stuff, although when I'm listening to stuff for "work", I kill the last.fm app, so it doesn't skew the results too much. Also, the site has now, except for the statistics, some artists info which is quite useful. Basically it works on the same principle as most internet communities. Just like in this list, for example, but instead of someone actively recommending something I can go to his page and see what he'd been listening to in the last week and see if anything interests me. And it's so nice to see what you've been listening to in the past months. cheers giluz - -- Now playing: http://www.last.fm/user/giluz/ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 24 Aug 2006 11:30:52 +0100 (BST) From: Fergus Kelly Subject: [idealcopy] EGL/MES Howard wondered: There was a Fall cover but I can't recall the title - ((( Should've been "Pacifying Joint". Graham's version will be included on a Monks tribute album to be released later this year.... more later... Like MySpace, it has great potential for promoting alternative artists. But whereas MySpace is about sharing the actual music LastFM is about listening habits and the creation of virtual communities out of them. The question of sharing or buying is not the issue here. Both sites are great and represent decentralised promotion possibilites. giluz - -- Now playing: http://www.last.fm/user/giluz/ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Aug 2006 00:08:29 +0100 From: "Mark McQuitty" Subject: [idealcopy] Mr Graham Lewis Mr Graham Lewis at the Notting Hill Arts Club on Monday night, here be pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tingy/sets/72157594246879911/ Although we had to wait a good while for it, I really enjoyed the set.
