I really couldn't give a monkey's about an "ex-Roadie turned pest control contractor with anger management issues". I used to have lunch in a pub frequented by an AC/DC roadie with a beaten-up old Range Rover. He wasn't funny either, but he wasn't being paid a fortune to pretend he was. By the way (according to him) the band, AC/DC, spend all their free time in topless bars just sitting there gazing into their beers. That amused me more than Saxondale ever will! There are parts that recall early 80's Scrits. His voice is in good shape. He's played 'Sweetest Girl' this year also. These exclusive gatherings represent a first-of-its-kind opportunity for fans to meet Foreigner, while tasting wines from Wente vineyards. A small number of tickets priced #10.00 each are available for this event from Midland Box Office 01902 552121/0870 320 7000. This will take place at 6:00pm in the Civic Hall Bar!" i think wire certainly missed a trick not going down this path ;-) and i must say a couple of bottles of vino would probably improve the foreigner gig beyond question (well it could hardly make things worse) p ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V9 #165 *******************************
