And I must admit, while I like Cadburys and Galaxy as much as the next Brit, they are a different experience to Lindt, Cote D'Or etc.<<<<< British choc of the cheap 'n' cheerful versions (Mars/Galaxy,Yorkie) all uses hydrogenated vegetable oil (often listed as 'vegetable fat' to have a long shelf life and to avoid it melting on summer days. This stuff is not far off being an 'edible' plastic and it's now widely recognised that it's extremely bad for the heart (much worse than butter or spreads made from olive oil/rapeseed oil mixes). If it won't melt on the shelf, one would have to imagine it behaves pretty strangely once consumed. It's almost impossible to avoid this stuff entirely as it's used in pastry and even bread. Anyway, the continentals don't use it in their better chocolates but they are just as guilty as British manufacturers when it comes to the cheap stuff. I resist ranting about health issues as much as possible on the list but this is a pet hate (he says biting into a Cornish pasty - I expect the pastry is full of it but I'm hungry, so that's one to the manufacturers! Just come back from India where the sweets are made from condensed milk, pistachio nuts, saffron, sugar, syrup etc. Quite a different way of doing things and not everyone here who I've offered them likes them, but who cares? Also notice on PE that that Johnny Vegas sitcom 'Ideal' (never seen it myself) features Keith A's least favourite / my favourite Githead track 'They Are' on the soundtrack. Much as I love the boys, I don't think I'd be able to afford the box so I'm going on and buying the initial re-releases. I do hope they might consider digital downloads of the live albums at some later point, though. I can't wait to report on the sound...hell, I can't wait to HEAR them! Oh, and has anyone yet heard The Silence Kit? I found them through MySpace...they're quite good, I think. http://www.myspace.com/thesilencekit Jack Jack L.
