Don't ask me why, I'm sure it seemed like a good idea when I started. If anyone fancies checking it out, you can download it here: http://www.astrozero.co.uk/theotherplace.htm It lasts around 40 minutes and is close to 40mb in size so this is obviously for people with broadband, and too much time on their hands, only. I've made some indirect inquiries to see if the Wire chaps are OK with it being made available like this (thanks Craig, thanks Colin) and the verdict seems to be that they are. (Though this doesn't mean any members of Wire, or anybody else, think it's actually worth listening to, just that it's sufficiently unrecognisable that I'm not trampling all over their copyright.) It is said, through sources, that Robert has a concern that the "Mister Feathers" character that Anton Corbijn created for the "Playing The Angel" cover bears more than a passing resemblance to the cover for The Cure's "Boys Don't Cry" single. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2006 11:09:38 -0800 (PST) From: J Alberson Subject: Re: [idealcopy] The Other Place I'm about 34 minutes in and I must say, you've done a fine job!
