Didn't know it was on the CD of Document and eyewitness, though. So the question is now, do I buy an album on CD who's vinyl counterpart has led a rather solitary, very rarely played existence in my racks since I bought it on release ? Even then, The 45 rpm 12 " is the only element that gets a run out.... Hmm. David McKenzie wrote: ... I couldn't stick with the CD last time I played it and wouldn't buy a remastered version. Our Swimmer/Midnight Bahnhof Cafe are, though, great stuff. ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. D&E might be hard going compared to 154 or CM - but it's hardly classified as "difficult" in the scheme of things. D&E is an extraordinary record - think of it as a demo for the fourth Wire album, released in late 1980. You can have great fun putting together an Ideal track list for Wire's great lost album, using the stuff off D&E and Turns & Strokes. And a nice little fantasy sees Wire completing the task, making a "finished" version of the 1980 album.... My younger brother ran their fanclub here in Holland. Must be around that time. Lip-stick letters from Iran. Unbelievable. When I see him I will ask if he had abbonee with initials MB for his 3-monthly magazines. LOL btw Is MC not involved in Killing Joke nowadays? j - --------------------------------- Yahoo!
