Unfortunately, I only spun it once or twice and it got lost in the shuffle. Initially I wasn't as impressed as I've been with Spoon's earlier work - but I do like the band. I'll have to re-listen now with fresher ears and give it another chance. As was Kung Fu Hustle - there have been fewer sheerly enjoyable films out this year. I saw them open for Franz Ferdinand here in Atlanta last year at the Cotton Club. That show is what got me into the band...their performance pretty much rivaled that of the headliner. Still, I would like to see them again now that I'm familiar with the songs. I should have made it to that show. I was at The Earl tonight, though....I was standing fifteen feet from Ronnie Spector as she performed "Be My Baby" with her band. Great Concert Moment that I won't forget very soon. (the Ronnie Spector show was, incidentally, part of the Stomp & Stammer Magazine Anniversary Party). The Rosebuds put on one great opening act as well. Leaving your computer id connected to illegal web activity is a bit like walking into a bank with a revolver and being filmed smiling at the cameras. Still, the odds of being prosecuting must be akin to winning the lottery, er, just with your fortunes considerably reversed!!! ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
