Good for them - the whole idea of remaking this series is ridiculous, so I would rather it would be a bad remake - it'd just make the original look even better. cheers giluz - -- Now playing: http://www.last.fm/user/giluz/ - -- Now playing: http://www.last.fm/user/giluz/ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2005 14:15:54 +0200 From: giluz Subject: [idealcopy] OT: Black Sun Productions To anyone of you who got tired of too much Pink Floyd and Kate Bush: Black Sun Productions' operettAmorale is a very interesting interpretation of Weill & Brecht's Dreigroschenopera. Not cover versions - the songs are completely changed and the originals are only references, which only enhances the project. Quite worth checking out. cheers giluz - -- Now playing: http://www.last.fm/user/giluz/ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2005 06:39:57 -0600 From: David McKenzie Subject: Re: [idealcopy] THE PRISONER - NEW SERIES... > the whole idea of remaking this series is ridiculous pointless indeed the series is lacking nothing, save up to date sfx and that would more likely detract certainly , you couldn't get everything else to look as good ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2005 06:41:09 -0600 From: David McKenzie Subject: Re: [idealcopy] OT: Black Sun Productions intriguing and timely ballad of immoral earnings indeed On 11/19/05, giluz wrote: > > To anyone of you who got tired of too much Pink Floyd and Kate Bush: Black > Sun Productions' operettAmorale is a very interesting interpretation of > Weill & Brecht's Dreigroschenopera. I must say I am totally won over, complex/clever/simple music blending together in a hippy/heav(ier) rock/psychedelic mix of witt and prose. the c.d slow poisoners is almost eraless, it's a mix of the thought machine of the late 60's to the alternativeness of today that the likes of Wilco would embrace. If I were a music mag. writer I would attatch the label 'Must Have' I doubt anyone on this list would not enjoy the journey. kitty feet is somewhat similar but with a richer deeper shoe-gazing appeal, certainly one to allow a hash-induced trippy through the mirror journey that will take you so deep you'll wonder when the trip ends.Ruben doesn't reach the highs in kitty feet that he does with slow poison, it's much more 'english', his time spent in blighty shows through this and the slow poison c.d. Ruben indicated that if anyone on the list is interested you are invited to drop him a line and he'll burn you a copy. you won't be sorry. A - --------------------------------- Yahoo!
