They were first on, so I wasn't paying too much attention as I was eager to hear La Bush but I recall an energetic sound which dashes along in a way which will doubtless entrance the nation. The Kate Bush single has rather lodged itself in my brain over the week, whetting the appetite for the album. I suspect either KB or the Arctics are better bets for next year's Mercury Prize that Mr Bursa'a long-odds stab, The Fall. There was a pretty good John Cale single on Roundtable too.
