[Ar] RE: [idealcopy] OT: Robert Wyatt interview ["Keith Knight" Subject: [idealcopy] Free will and testament Thanks Keith for flagging the Wyatt programme, which I downloaded and listened to last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. He's always been such a 'right on' sort of guy, in the best ways, even if that meant being a member of the communist party for a while... I loved his response to his friends urging him to catch up with the 21st century and get a computer: he decided to learn the trumpet. Have to agree with the boiling boy about Wyatt's voice.. it's a thing of beauty... gets me every time. Fergus __________________________________ Yahoo! Nice written review by the Kleef in Dutch (OK Romke) It's in Dutch. Nice words Lovely dancable rhytmns, dark bass van Spigel, a Durutti Column like guitar from Rimbaud. And you can't deny a variety of underground-history on stage written in CAPITAL words. j - --------------------------------- Yahoo! for Good Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 29 Sep 2005 13:49:09 -0700 (PDT) From: Ari Subject: [idealcopy] O.T: for those who missed the Sigur Ros concert.......... http://www.npr.org/programs/asc/archives/liveshows20050907/ or http://tinyurl.com/8nmyo A If it's fun............do it.................. __________________________________ Yahoo!
