It was magnificient. They played 3 hours with 3 encores. First encore was completely 17 Seconds one, Second one with Faith songs ( drawning man and epic version of Faith ) and third one was 3 Imaginary Boys. Sezged is incredible small city, so we explored old houses, churches, sinagogues and eat perfectly in beautifull afternoon in same time whe The Cure took a stage in 17h (their official set began at 22h) and make a special pre-performance playing 90 minutes of music. People who was inside of festival (complex of swimming pools, near river Tzisa ) had special chance to see them twice in just 5 hours... HUHH!! Incredible, incredible..... We still cannot recovered from beatiful impressions, it was perfect day.. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Aug 2005 10:57:30 -0400 From: Timothy Sasscer Subject: [idealcopy] Balt CD This place: http://www.baltcd.org/ apparently ripped me off; 4 months and no dvd, they no longer answer my emails, and I don't know any Russians (Estonians? Belorussians?....) who can go there and kick their ass...so caveat emptor, my friends. My bad, as the saying goes, I should have known better: I did some elementary research and found some people in Europe who had gotten great hard-to find things there, but still, Eastern ex-Russia is somewhat sketchy in the business sense. I was looking for (still am, I guess) the dvd of Arto Lindsay called "Simply Are", a French hour long concert/documentary unavailable stateside (in fact, unheard of over here), just in case anyone knows of a legitimate source. t ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Aug 2005 13:33:53 -0700 From: rdc Subject: [idealcopy] re: to airto is human to kick belo-russian ass is divine. did you try a torrent site. i'm sure someone has it. also, do you have a newsreader? get giga news. you can get anything........except githead. i did get dome 1 & 2 and need to send a few bucks to the guys as i couldn't find it in the stores in hollywood. i don't want to rip them off. send and addie guys...i will pay you. ari....undergoing major life changes at store. will get you the goods in the next couple of weeks. ruben ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Aug 2005 15:31:51 -0500 From: David McKenzie Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Balt CD While I appreciate the heads-up on a shady vendor - their website has MasterCard and Visa logos, leading me to assume that credit cards are accepted. You can always dispute credit card charges and (in my experience) should have your funds back within 60 days. Unresponsive vendors are aassessed a penalty by the credit card company - so there is some justice in this world. I don't know whether they will be re-scheduled; if you have tickets please check with the venue. The story, from Hugo: "Jon hurt his knee on tour in the US in May (...he missed the microwave with the iron pipe and bashed himself...) and exacerbated it in Japan 3 weeks ago in a fit of wild performance abandon. He is not scheduled for immediate surgery... just therapy and resting it, but the rest period enforced by the specialist he saw demands cancellation/postponement of everything up to the Barbican show - which will go ahead. He gives his heart and soul to every performance - he shouldn't have to sacrifice a major joint as well!" [Hugo Burnham, 21st August 2005] So, lets just wish Jon a speedy recovery and hope for some alternative dates later.
