No. Just something better than Adventure. Hands up who was disappointed that Chairs Missing wasn't Pink Flag Pt II. Thought not!! It's not the worst album in the world. Just one of the most disappointing ones. As Mark hinted, if it was by anyone else we wouldn't be having this conversation. > Sheep follow sheep I'm guilty of a lot of things, but being a sheep is not one of them. I also like 'adventure' just as much as I like MM: if anything the disappointment was the self-titled album, and no, I wasn't disappointed,'maybe' not as good as MM but I do admire musicians that 'go in different directions' what's the point of rehashing the same old same old? isn't that why we're on the Wire list? Not even for the version off "Not to"............ However, we're not talking about dissecting a Steve Vai fretwank-athon, here. With a good ear and a bit of creative looping with software, or even just hitting 'repeat' on your CD player, it wouldn't be *that* difficult to nail, would it ? ;-) Good ear training, IMHO. Good luck. A Tip I've often used: Generally, if you're not sure about the key, start by listening to the bassline, and watch for the tell-tale drone of an open string, & decide *which* string it is most likely to be, then retune your guitar accordingly.(or use a capo:- your choice) At least then you'll be learning it in the right key, with helpful open strings to simplify the fingering. Don't necessarily trust the CD to be in concert pitch........ Then again, you *could* perhaps try e-mailing Colin , and ask him nicely for some pointers? Don't know if you'd get a response, or what it's nature would be , but you can but try. steve ninehouser wrote: Does anybody have the tab for the Wire version of Lorries? - --------------------------------- Yahoo!
