Wire at Wire... Fergus __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail Mobile Take Yahoo! Mail with you! I'll get in on this before the ritual shooting of fish in a barrel commences....;-) I can only surmise that Saint Bob has sent "da boyz" round to hold some artillery to Roger Waters's head, as the long-standing enmity between himself and the rest of PF (Gilmour & Wright mostly) far from mellowing with the passing of time, seems to have if anything, deepened. Apparently the two of them hove up at RW's country pile a couple of years ago to suggest burying the hatchet with a veiw to one last retirement fund tour, and Roger's answer was a succinct "Fuck off" before he shut the door (allegedly)... I suspect the true entertainment value of this appearance will lie in watching the utter lack of onstage empathy. And they've got to do it not just the once, but several times. Lets see who sports the first cauliflower ear......... :-) Once upon a time, I'd have rejoiced at this:- now, I simply don't care. I always thought that to go see them live wouldabin a total waste of time and money, they never heard of the word improvization, let alone give it a try, I also suspect that when they played at a concert they weren't, what you heard was the studio album........ how else could they sound, note for note, exactly like them?
