If you're interested, it's on the album "Cammel Laird social club". Also played "Light at the end of the tunnel (is the light of an oncoming train)" too, as it seemed to chime with our perennially skint situation :- we were in liquidation, and all we kept hearing from the board was "We can see the light at the end of the tunnel , now:- we'll soon be free of liquidation....." There's no indication whether the board were amused by this track, or if they choked on their half-time canapes'n' sparkling wines. A fair few supporters were, however. ;-) HMHB played here in a grotty little club a couple of years back, and they were an utter hoot. Highly recommended if they hove into veiw at a venue near you. However, be warned:- I can't see their humour travelling too well 'over the pond' on account of innumerable obscure references to British TV, football, products, etc etc etc. Keith A wrote: Subject: The Referee's Alphabet Half Man Half Biscuit track, play in 2 parts. http://comedy.allinfoabout.com/ref2.html [demime 0.97c-p1 removed an attachment of type application/octet-stream which had a name of The Referee's Alphabet.url] Make Yahoo! your home page ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Apr 2005 00:53:23 +0100 From: Tim Subject: Re: [idealcopy] OT konono no.1 I have now, nice one Paul!. Just ordered a copy on the strength of the little soundbite there. Sounds amazing and more exciting than a lot of the rather underwhelming electronica stuff I've heard recently..which was no doubt laboured over for hours on ProTools and stacks of expensive gear. These guys just rip it up with just a few bits of scrap material, bits of wood and some wired-up thumb pianos! Speaking of which, nerdy electronica can still be good; I'm into the new Autechre record right now (today has mostly been Autechre and Philip Glass, actually). Reason 3.0 is eating the rest of my life. Too much fun. - - Andrew ------------------------------ End of idealcopy-digest V8 #103 *******************************
