The show will no longer be available by the time I can do this, however, so I will still have to throw myself on the mercy of listees! At least quite a few tracks were played - it's not as if there's an over abundance of good live Wire recordings IMHO. B the show is streamed on the website http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/dream_ticket/ so something like Total Recorder will let you keep it for posterity. ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. It's weird, though: Idie 103 seems to be going like gangbusters in LA, and 2/3rds of what they play sounds like Gang of Four anyway, so... - -Rex ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 24 Mar 2005 18:24:46 GMT From: "P J Kane" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Gang of Four in the US << Well, that "tour of the coasts and Chicago" setup is hardly unique to Go4, so I've learned to cope, but all my good airfare locations, like Chicago, are also midweek dates requiring vacation days I don't have. >> yeah, me too. looks like i'll be missing Go4 this round. darnit. << Jason, can the Echo Lounge pull off a miracle for us here? >> The Echo Lounge closed in January.
