I wouldn't have thought it was your cup of tea, ATK, but I guess I'm being purely superficial and *looking* at the band. I can't say I've heard any of their stuff that I know about, but they look to me for all the world like your archetypal 'hair metal', and feature often enough in the pages of such as 'Kerrang!' and 'Metal Hammer' for me to give'em a really wide berth. However, in this month's 'total guitar' I know there's an interveiw with them, and I *think* a track by them on the cover CD, so I'll investigate, and report back on any dodgy politics I find.........oh, and just how cruddy (or otherwise) they sound.... Wow! Good one Uri. He of course once wrote a song called Wayland Smithy has Wings which I heard him play at the request of an audience member at the QEH a few years back. I once tried to find Wayland Smithy, driving back that way on my own one evening. I hiked off along the Ridgeway following the signs but went a long way before turning back as it was getting dark. I assume that the signs had been taken down for some reason - I certainly saw nothing that might have been it, at least on the path.
