Roadrunner, Stepping Stone, Don't Give Me No Lip, Psychotic Reaction, etc plus a couple of less obvious offerings (Can - more fitting on a Roots of PIL comp I'd say! - and Dr Alimantado), and one track c/o the Pistols themselves - the live 'Winterland' version of Seventeen! Not the start of the year I'd hoped for, to be sure. So - since my email address was paulp@wrq.com - I need to change my IdealCopy e-mail address. Anyone know the easiest way to do this? Should I u_n_s_u_b_s_c_r_i_b_e and r_e_s_u_b_s_c_r_i_b_e? (Or - if the list admin is watching - ^_^ - I need to have mail sent to weasel_bot@hotmail.com ) Cheers, Paul ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Jan 2005 16:03:30 -0800 (PST) From: Ari Subject: [idealcopy] Dan Bailey................ ...........couple of days ago some of us on this list recieved an email of thanx from Dan for our concern for his well being,it was an extremely long letter and the gist of it was that he didn't buy a calender for 2005 because he hoped he wouldn't see the end of it. He is extremly deppressed and thinx that no-one really cares about him or that he has no reason to continue to live. amongst other things he mentioned was his financial situation, with all his cards maxed out,no chance of a job and no where to turn life looked grim. I am asking all on this list to email him with love and best wishes,if anyone wishes to mail anything to him to try and cheer him up drop me a line and I'll email you his address in Alabama. As an ex member of this list he is too valueable to lose. Ari Tired of spam? Yahoo! I'm well aware that Nadir's Big Chance is on this CD Young Astbury, (in what is the first Hammill track to be given away in this fashion to my knowledge) but did you know it wasn't one of the two Hammill tracks chosen by Lydon on his legendary Capital Radio show, contrary to the note inside the mag? The tracks were, of course, The Institute of Mental Health Burning and Nobody's Business.
