Great music though. > Again, I love these two - lyrics included. I Should Have Known Better was the very first Wire album track I ever heard (after having picked up a couple of singles which didn't really impress me). I was quite surprised, having prepared myself for Newman's 12-year-old lippy southerner vocal stylings. I was also immediately hooked. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Nov 2004 20:30:17 -0000 From: "Ian B" Subject: Re: [idealcopy] Where only edges can be seen - ----- Original Message ----- From: > But Chairs Missing has always had a 'skipper' for me - From the Nursery, > which in the same way I'd never warmed to over the years. > Until the other day, when I played the album for the first time in a while. > And FTN sounded very fine indeed. > I'd agree on FTN (along with Too Late, although this one refuses to grow). Mind you the whole album was an initial let down for me, as I heard it after 154. This was primarily because it wasn't 154-(p)re-visited. Love it now though, just heard French Film Blurred whilst making my tea, on a comp tape I made ages ago - utterly superb.
